Faye I. Potts

Funeral services for Faye I. Potts, age 94, of Lake Junaluska, North Carolina, and formerly of Habersham County, will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2009, at 3:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow the service in the Cool Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1-3 PM.

Faye passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at Haywood Regional Medical Center, following a period of declining health.

Faye was born in Habersham County, Georgia on October 6, 1915 to the late Garnett and Essie Smith Potts. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by sisters Bonn, Zelia, Eva, and Kathryn, and brothers Ed, Sam, Bill, and Hugh.

She leaves behind a large family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
