J. Jackson Reeve

Dr. J. Jackson Reeve, 87, of Cumming GA passed away December 19th, 2009, after a long and productive life.

Jackson was born February, 1st 1922 in Wembo-Nyama, Belgium Congo, Africa, to Methodist missionary parents, Rev. and Mrs. Thomas E. Reeve Sr. Upon returning to the United States in 1929, they lived in Calhoun GA. After graduating from Calhoun High School in 1939, Dr. Reeve attended Emory at Oxford and later matriculated to Emory University where he graduated in 1943. He then enlisted in the US Navy until 1946 where he was honorable discharged as an AETM, 2nd Class. Dr. Reeve later returned to Emory Universityâ
