Mary Helen Dunham Williams

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Grace Episcopal Church for Mrs. Mary Helen Dunham Williams, 85, of Gainesville. The Rev. Doug Dailey and the Rev. Larry Williams will officiate. Visitation will be at the church after the service. Interment will be in Andersonville National Historic Site, Andersonville, GA.



The daughter of the late Harold and Muriel Conner Dunham she was born in Anderson Indiana. She had lived in Hall County since 2004. She retired January 11, 1984 from Civil Service, Head of Publication at Marine Corp Logistics base in Albany, GA. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Gainesville, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband USMC Ret. Clarence W. Williams.



Survivors include her daughter and son in law; Helen and David Abernathy of Bradenton, FL, son and daughter in law; Rev. Larry and Deborah Williams of Acworth, GA, daughter and son in law; Melissa and Russell Smith of Gainesville, daughter and son in law; Alice and Gary Turner of Cumming, GA, grandchildren; Lt. Comm. David Abernathy and wife Paige, Phillip Edward Smith, Richard Abernathy and wife Katey, Katie Beth Salyer and husband David, Kimberly S. Jenkins and Husband Wayne, Heidi T. Silliman and husband Ben, Mary Cannon, Cecilia and Christopher Williams; 8 great-grandchildren, sister, Dorothy Schuyler and brother, Howard L. Dunham both of Anderson Indiana.



In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Grace Episcopal Church 422 Brenau Ave. Gainesville, GA 30501 in memory of Mary Helen Williams or to your favorite charity.
