Lila Mae Gowder

Ivie Funeral home announces services for Mrs. Lila Mae Gowder, 91, of Maysville who died on Wednesday at her residence. Born in Habersham County, she was the daughter of the late G.W. and India Carpenter Scroggs and was the widow of Isaac C. Gowder. Survivors include children, Donnie Gowder of Maysville and Geveva Savage of Maysville; 13 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Lila Mae Gowder will be conducted on Friday at 3:30 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Swayne Carlan officiating. Interment will follow in the Grove Level Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
