Ruth Mathis Payne

Mrs. Ruth Mathis Payne, age 69 of Cumming, GA passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church, a hard working woman and a great mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Payne and father, Herbert Clayton Mathis.



Survivors include her mother, Grace Mathis of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Marie Evans of Dawsonville, Mitchell and Jennifer Payne and Marty and Shana Payne all of Cumming; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Annie and Jake Mills of Cumming and Mary Mathis of Buford; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Sheila Mathis of Cumming; 3 grandchildren, Michael William Evans, Melanie Sahagun and Tayla Payne; great grandchild, Arianna Sahagun; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.



A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Bennett and Rev. Harold Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 10th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, December 11th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturday, Dec. 12th from 9:00 am until the hour of service.
