Austin Daniel Shoemake, age 21, of Dahlonega, GA died December 6, 2009.
Austin was born in Troup County, Georgia. He attended Lumpkin County High School.
He was preceded in death by death by his grandfather, Oddie Tucker, uncle, Jimmy Ray Tucker.
Austin is survived by his parents, Randy and Denise Shoemake, Dahlonega, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Jonathan and Kellyn Grizzle, Dahlonega; paternal grandparents, Doug and Mary Shoemake, Newnan, GA; maternal grandmother, Janet Tucker, Senoia, GA; niece, Keylee Grace Grizzle, Dahlonega. Several other relatives also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday December 10, 2009 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA. Rev. Ray Prince will officiate.
Interment will follow at 3:00 PM Thursday December 10, 2009 at Oakhill Cemetery in Newnan, GA.
The Family will receive friends from 6 PM until 9 PM Wednesday December 9, 2009 at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA.
Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements.
