Diane Elinor Whitaker

Diane Elinor Whitaker, 71, of Murrayville, GA, (formerly of Pine Island and Seminole, FL) passed away peacefully December 5, 2009 following a brief illness. Her husband, Carl, children Steven, Lori Lomelino and Cheri Cohen, Kept vigil at her bedside at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Cleveland OH, she met Carl at Michigan State University and soon after married in Chicago. She is survived by her husband, children and siblings, Dennis Carlson and Lynn Nelson and five grandchildren.

Her family and friends will gather on her birthday in Dunedin, FL to celebrate her life.
