Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Karen Melissa Murphy, age 43 of Cleveland. Mrs. Murphy passed away Wednesday, December 02, 2009 at her residence following a brief illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2009 from Harvest Time Worship Center with the Rev. Robert Highsmith and Rev. Sammy Reed officiating.

Mrs. Murphy was born in Orlando, Florida on November 3, 1966 to Karlene Walker Murphy and David Murphy. She was a member of Harvest Time Worship Center and is preceded in death by her father, David Murphy and grandfather, Charles Murphy.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Frankie & Donna Cochran , Cleveland; mother, Karlene Murphy, Cleveland; brothers, Gary Murphy of Defunick, Florida and David Murphy of Cleveland, grandmother, Evelyn Murphy, Williston, Florida; John and Louise Woods of Cleveland; grandchildren Ethan Williamson, Jalynn Murphy, Devon Murphy and Austin Williamson
