Florrie Hill

Mrs. Florrie Trimble Hill, 83, of Gainesville died November 25, 2009.

She was a native of Fulton County living in College Park until 1967 before moving to Gainesville. Mrs. Hill was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she also enjoyed doing artwork, horseback riding, trout fishing and gardening,and was avid Braves fan.

Mrs. Hill was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. & Mrs. Hoyt B. and Annieflorrie Williams Trimble. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include children, Sandy Foster of Stockbridge, Steve Hill of Gainesville, Bob and Kathy Hill of Monroe, William and Jenny Hill of Gainesville, Jan and Steve Roper of Gainesville;10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren,a sister, Annie Dozier of Pensacola, FL.; brother and sister in law, Dr. William and Ann Trimble of Rome, Georgia.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Rev. David Beville will officiate.
