Jeanette Aaron

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Jeanette Nix Aaron, age 78, of Jefferson, who passed away Monday, November 23, 2009. Mrs. Aaron, born in Jackson County, was a daughter of the late, Joe and Martha Adams Nix. She was a homemaker and a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church. Mrs. Aaron was preceded in death by her husband, William Aaron.

Survivors include her son, Gene Aaron of Jefferson; daughter, Jerrie Courson of Statham. Sister, Evelyn Kirkman of Jefferson; brother, Danny Nix of Conyers. Granddaughter, Celena Chatham of Talmo.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 27, 2009 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Healan and Rev. Charles Morrison officiating. Interment will follow in Galilee Christian Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Mize, Stanley Duncan, Carl Mize, Ricky Hooper, Chip Aaron, and Craig Brooks.
