Herbert William Nylander

Mr. Herbert William Nylander, Sr, age 86, of Commerce, GA died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Hill Haven Nursing Home. Mr. Nylander was born in Allegheny, PA to the late, Guy and Marcella Jackson Nylander. He was a United States Army Air Corp veteran of World War II. Mr. Nylander was a retired purchasing agent for International Playtex. In addition to his parents, Mr. Nylander was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Louise Irwin Nylander and son, David Nylander.
Mr. Nylander is survived by his sons, Jeffery Nylander of Gainesville, GA and Herbert W. Nylander, Jr. of Inman, SC; brothers, Gerard Nylander of Columbia, SC and Richard Nylander of McKees Port, PA; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, November 24 graveside, Jackson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Paul Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6 â
