Ernestine Looper

Ernestine Looper, 90, of Hiawassee, formerly of Dawsonville, died Friday November 20, 2009 at her residence following a period of declining health.

Born December 11, 1918 in Dawson County to the late Grady and Annie Scott, Mrs. Looper lived a number of years in Atlanta, Dania, FL, Forest Park and Florissant, MO before returning to Dawson County after her marriage to former State Representative Max R. Looper. She remained here until 2003 when she moved to Hiawassee due to declining health. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many Dawson County residents.
