Sally Mae Gaddis

Sally Mae Gaddis, 92, of Dawsonville died Wednesday November 18, 2009 at Chestnut Ridge Nursing Center following a period of declining health.

Born August 19, 1917 to the late Floyd and Addie Conner, Mrs. Gaddis lived most of her life in Dawson County. A homemaker at her death, she was employed for many years in the poultry industry. She was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church and was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Gaddis and several sisters and brothers.

Surviving are her children, Virginia and Pink Townley, Oakwood, Jeannette Gilreath, Gainesville, Gene and Gloria Gaddis, Phoenix City, AL, Judy West Dawsonville, Ann and Sammy Horner, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Chris Townley, Lynn and Jeff King, Ronnie and Betsy Smith, Keith and Pam Dohney, Margaret and Doug Duncan, Shelia and Richard Hammock, Denise and Billy Wehunt, Jon Chester; 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
