Virgie Bowen

Virgie Bowen, 88, of Cumming, GA died at Northside Hospital Forsyth on November 14, 2009. The daughter of the late Clomer and Susie Duffey, her beloved husband, Jack Bowen also predeceased her.

Mrs. Bowen was an active member of Cumming First United Methodist Church and earlier, Jones Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a great wife, mother, grand-mommy and friend to all. She taught her family about the love of Jesus Christ and always to look forward and not look back.

Virgie is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Gene) Hodges of Cumming, GA; son, Ken (Jillann) Bowen of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Gina (Kevin) Ragsdale, Kevin (Lori) Hodges, Kristin (Brian) Duffey, Megan and Kent Bowen; great-grandchildren, Brock, Braden and Brittan Ragsdale, Grant Hodges and Skyler Duffey.
