Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Patricia Gae Matthews, age 73 of Cleveland. Mrs. Matthews passed away Thursday, November 05, 2009 at a private care home following a period of declining health. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM; Saturday, November 7, 2009 from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike McCormack officiating, interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park

Mrs. Matthews was born on July 29, 1936 in New York to the late Daniel and Marguarita Davis Alexander. She was a self employed medical transcriptionist and had lived in the Cleveland and Dahlonega area for some 30 years. She loved music, playing both the guitar and the keyboard, she was also an accomplished author having her book â
