Connie Rae Palmer

Mrs. Connie Rae Palmer, age 67, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, November 05, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Palmer was born in White County on August 19, 1942 to the late Frank and Rosie Lee Clark Abernathy. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Maxine Latty and Eunice Bagley. She was a homemaker and a member of Christian Baptist Church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Sunday, November 8, 2009 from Christian Baptist Church. The Rev. Kenneth Pilcher, Rev. Leon Arrowood, and Rev. Bill Trotter will officiate. Interment will follow in Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Hocshton.

The body will be carried to her residence at 222 Arrowood Dr. where the family will receive friends all day Friday and Saturday.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd Leon Palmer, Cleveland; daughters, Vanessa Palmer, Cleveland; Kimberley Beth Palmer, Hocshton; son, Bradley Palmer, Hocshton; sister, Glynnis Neal, Clarkesville; grandchildren, Tiffany Carter, Matthew Palmer, Jennifer Palmer, Joseph Palmer, and Mia Palmer.
