George Wilson Brown

Mr. George Wilson Brown, age 78 of Alpharetta, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009. Mr. Brown was a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church and was owner of Brown's Greenhouses. He was preceded in death by his parents Euell and Ola Mae Brown; son Norman Brown; brothers Lee Brown and Shirley Brown; sister Ruth Payne.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years Frances Brown of Alpharetta; sons Rev. Ronnie and Rebecca Brown of Cumming and Tim and Val Brown of Alpharetta; daughter-in-law Alice Brown of Alpharetta; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Brenton Bagley of Suwanee; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 3rd at 11:00 am at Cross Plains Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Purcell and Rev. Todd Skinner officiating. Interment will follow in Cross Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
