George Vernon Love

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of George Vernon Love, 60, of Commerce who died on Friday, October 30, at his residence. Born in Stanley County, North Carolina, he was the son of Lucy Carelock Love Teeter and the late Conley Love. He was also predeceased by his wife, Kathryn Cook Love and a brother, John Carl Love. Survivors, along with his mother, include children, George Love, Jr. of New Jersey, Jason Ross Love of Winder, Jeanie Love of New Jersey and Jessica Renee Love of Commerce; brothers, James Clyde Love of Alaska, Benny Cash Teeter and Robert Dale Teeter, both of North Carolina; sisters, Linda Love Huffstetler, Martha Jane Love, Connie Love Kinley and Debra Teeter Love, all of North Carolina; and 5 grandchildren. No memorial services are scheduled at this time.
