Hazel Inez Gordon Davidson

Funeral services for Hazel Inez Gordon Davidson, age 75, will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009, at 11 AM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ivester, Rev. Vickers, and Rev. Trotman will officiate with burial to follow the service in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Born in Rabun County on December 9, 1933, Mrs. Davidson was the daughter of the late James and Dessie Thomas Gordon. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Davidson is preceded in death by son Douglas Michael Davidson, brothers Frank and Jackie Gordon, sisters Louellen Prince, Annie Taylor, and Viola Hunter.

Survivors include her husband Tom Davidson of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Pam and Rick Whiting of Mt. Airy, son and daughter in law Gary and Pauline Davidson of Demorest, brothers Joe and Bob Gordon of Clayton, Lee Gordon of Paris, TN, John Gordon of Hollywood, and Bill Gordon of Travelers Rest, SC, sisters Mary McGahee of Franklin, NC, Estella Littleton of Toccoa, Sue Trotman of Clarkesville, and Jean Cristy of Gainesville, as well as four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 5495 Highway 197 South, Clarkesville, on Thursday, October 29, 2009, from 6 â
