Mardell Greenway

Mrs. Mardell Greenway, age 80 of Dawsonville, Ga. died October 27, 2009.

Mrs. Greenway was born in Jackson county. She lived in Dawson county for most of her life. She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church in Dawsonville and was a homemaker.
She was the daughter of the late William Doc Crane and Annie Fricks Crane. She was also preceded in death by her husband Sumner (Punkin) Greenway. son: Benny Greenway and a sister Fannie Belle Stephens. Son in law; Jimmy Davis.
Mrs. Greenway is survived by Daughters and Son in laws; Joyce Davis and Kenneth Bruce; Dawsonville. Regina and Gary Evans; Dawsonville. Vicki and Rick Holtzman; Roswell, Ga. Kaye and Billy Hughes; Dawsonville. Daughter; Sandy Cox; Dawsonville. Sisters; Monnie Chester; Hartwell, Ga. Vera Mae Davis; Gainesville. Annette Anderson; Jasper, Ga. Frances Bachcum;Hartwell, Ga. Marell Bailey; Dawsonville. Brothers; Billy Crane; Dawsonville. Carl Dean Crane; Dawsonville. Eugene Crane; Duluth, Ga. Loy Crane; Dawsonville. Doc Crane Jr.; Dawsonville. Grandchildren; Jeffrey and Denise Davis, Judd and Gloria Hughes, Cody Cox and William McKenzie. 5 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday October 29, 2009 at the Mill Creek Baptist church in Lumpkin county. Rev. Rodney Pilcher and Rick Holtzman will officiate.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from Noon til 9pm on Wednesday at Banister Funeral Home.
