Margie Rhea Pearl Ferguson

Mrs. Margie Rhea Pearl Ferguson age 77 of Clarkesville passed away Monday October 26, 2009 at Landmark Hospital in Athens.

Mrs. Ferguson was born in White County the daughter of the late Frank and Fannie Cantrell Sosebee. She was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Ray Ferguson and brother, Nelson Charles Sosebee. Mrs. Ferguson was a homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Bobby Ray (Bud) Ferguson, Clarkesville; daughters and sons in law, Mertice and Joe Kimsey, Helen, Patsy and Ricky Diehl, Denise and Dwayne Kastner, all of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Joy and Heath Hammond, Christi and Jimmy Parton, Amos and Amber Ferguson, Sara Kastner, Beth Kimsey, Jill Kastner, Chelsey Ferguson, Lauren Ferguson; great grandchildren, Rachel Hammond, Greg Hammond, Emily Parton, Faith Parton, Landon Ferguson; many brothers in law & sisters in law.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday October 28, 2009 at Bethel Baptist Church. The Rev. Benny Nix, the Rev. Anthony Shore and the Rev. Michael Wilkes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
