Ora Sullivan

Ora Sullivan, age 85, formerly of Demorest, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009.



Mrs. Sullivan was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Demorest and a former member of their quilting group. She was a graduate of Tallulah Falls boarding school and attended Piedmont College. Mrs. Sullivan worked for Southern Bell in Atlanta as a telephone operator. She served in the United States Navy during World War II. Later, as a civilian Mrs. Sullivan was the assistant manager of the day care center on the U.S. Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and was a childrenâ
