Clara Bellamy

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Clara Mae Logan Bellamy, age 85, of Jefferson who passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009. Mrs. Bellamy was born on October 3, 1924, a daughter to the late Edgar and Jessie Kidd Logan. Mrs. Bellamy was a Homemaker and a member of the Attica Baptist Church but attended Nicholson Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Bellamy, sisters, Janie Thurmond and Mary Ross, and son in law, Leon Daniel.
Survivors include daughters, Shirley Daniel, Athens, Marie (Roger) Dills, Jefferson, grandsons, Jeff and Chad Daniel, Athens and 2 great grandchildren, Ashley Daniel of Athens and Breanna Daniel of Gray, GA.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 2PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Carpenter and Rev. Terry Smith officiating. The burial will follow in the Attica Baptist Church Cemetery with Chris Dodd, Bobby Capes, Dean Stringer, John Dills, Terry Ross and Mark Puckett serving as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-6pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society
