Judson Snead Sr.

Mr. Judson Snead Sr., age 75, of Ila, GA died Thursday October 22, 2009 at Embracing Hospice House. Mr. Snead was born in Knox County, TN to the late, Herndon G. and Nancy Winkle Snead. Mr. Snead was a wood worker, member of the Community Alliance Church, and was an U.S. Army Veteran in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Snead was preceded in death by a son Jerome Snead.

Mr. Snead is survived by his wife; Myra Worrell Snead of Loganville, GA, sons; Judson Snead Jr. of Dacula, GA, and Jeff Snead of Loganville, GA, daughters; Jan Frangreb of Simpsonville, SC, and Judi Leavelle of Loganville, GA, sisters; Mary Ester Parker of Tampa, FL, and Rachel Hunt of Decatur, AL, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Sunday 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Harp officiating with the interment following at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12- 2:00 PM.
