John Keith Groves

John Keith Groves, Sr. age 71, of Hickory Flat Road, Gillsville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Lula Worship Center. Reverend Bobby Griffin and Reverend Patrick Ballington will officiate.

Mr. Groves was born December 14, 1937 in Richwood, West Virginia to the late Reverend S. G. Groves and Reba Newsome Groves.

Mr. Groves is survived by his wife, Judy Groves of Gillsville, sons & daughters-in-laws, John Jr. & Aubrey Groves of Suwanee and Jeff & Donja Groves of Cleveland, daughter & son-in-law, Nanette & Tom Jones of Alpharetta, grandchildren, John Groves III, Jesse-Lynn Groves, Thomas Jones, Madison Jones, Wesley Jones, Taylor Groves, Xandra Groves, and Ashton Groves.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
