Lou "Lulu" Beason

Obituary Date: Saturday, October 10, 2009
Mrs. Lou "Lulu" Beason, age 90 of Cumming, GA passed away Saturday, October 10, 2009. She was born in Pocahontas, AK; a small town girl, one of three sisters and liked to sing. Mrs. Beason left home and moved to Washington, DC where she went to work for the FBI working under J. Edgar Hoover. She met and married Dr. David. C. Beason, Lt. Col of the US Army Medical Corps who died in 1987. They lived all over the United States, moving every three years. They also lived in Puerto Rico and retired to Atlanta when Dr. Beason established his practice of optometry. Mrs. Beason was very social her entire life. She loved her family and her cat "Precious." Mrs. Beason enjoyed laughter, coffee and the arts. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandsons, David Philip Masucci and Adam Christopher Masucci.

Survivors include daughter, Judy Beason Masucci of Cumming; sisters, Jestine Ashcraft of Houston, TX and Neva Coats of Fredericksburg, MO.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 3:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Weyman Cason officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 15th from 2:00 pm until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 1925 Century Blvd NE # 10, Atlanta, GA 30345-3315.
