Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces thee death of Mrs. Edna Mae Baxter, age 100 of Cleveland formerly of Atlanta. Mrs. Baxter passed away Friday, October 09, 2009 at a private care home following a period of declining health.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 15, 2009 from Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
Mrs. Baxter was born on June 20, 1009 in Cincinnati, Ohio to George Albert Bast and Alvina Katherine Heilmann Bast and spent most of her life in Atlanta where she was a bookkeeper for Dixon Tom-A-Toe later known as Fresh Express. She is preceded in death by her husband John David Baxter and daughter Mary Patricia Banks
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Rucker, Sautee; grandchildren, Carolyn Jones, Riverdale; Jennifer Bridges, Riverdale; David Rucker, Boston Mass.; Susan Gindra, Charlotte, N.C.. as well as 10 great grandchildren
