Jeanelle Stonecypher Reed

Funeral services for Jeanelle Stonecypher Reed, age 63, of Clarkesville, will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2009, at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Randall Reed, Rev. Deborah Cannon, and Rev. William Ratliss will officiate with burial to follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Reed passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009, following a period of declining health.

Born on October 20, 1945, Mrs. Reed was the daughter of the late Claude and Maggie Jameson Stonecypher. She was a registered nurse having worked for 34 ½ years at Habersham County Medical Center. Mrs. Reed was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Jerry Reed of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Leann and Charles Evans and grandson Charlie Evans of Augusta, sister and brother in law Mary Belle and Melvin Thomason of Carnesville, and Niece Melva Andrews and husband Bryan also of Carnesville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 5495 Highway 197 S. Clarkesville, on Saturday, October 10, 2009, from 2-4 PM and from 6-8 PM.
