Liza Jane Brooks

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Liza Jane Brooks, age 27, of Nicholson, who passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Ms. Brooks, born in Jackson County, worked as a CNA with BJC Nursing Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Jade Brooks of Nicholson. Father and mother, Donald Alfred and Ellen Carlisle Brooks of Commerce. Brother, Don Brooks and his fiancé Jami Williams; sister, Ellie Martin and her husband Roger. Grandmother, Estelle Carlisle; nephews, Jacob and Dylan Martin; niece, Hailey Martin; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Sunday, October 11, 2009 from the Revival Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Shadburn, Rev. Larry Lee, Rev. Lloyd Hoffer, and Rev. John Mullinax officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Don Brooks, Dwight Brooks, Roger Martin, Derek Ray, Jeremy Ray, and Donald Brooks.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 9 PM on Friday and Saturday evenings at Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, Georgia.
