Larry Leon McCoskey

Larry Leon McCoskey, age 63 of Cleveland, GA passed away October 4, 2009 following an extended illness.

Larry was born and raised in Indiana and was a graduate of Purdue University. Having served in the US Army, he was also a Vietnam veteran.
Larry was a retail manager for many years and lived in Dahlonega since 1999 until moving to Cleveland in 2008. He was a member of the Dahlonega United Methodist Church.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Leslie McCoskey of Cleveland; mother, Vivian Jean Fowler of Garden Grove, CA; sister, Jerry Straley and husband Gary of Peoga, IN; sister, Grace Ann Boyer and husband Kerry of Riverside, CA; sister, Susan Russell of Anaheim, CA; stepmother, Louise McCoskey of Noblesville, IN; stepson and daughter in law, Joe Richards and Amy Bowman-Richards of Norcross, GA; stepsister; Brenda Spencer of Jefferson, KY; stepbrothers, Kenny Highers of Anderson, IN and Denny Highers of Noblesville, IN; and stepdaughter, Abby Conley and husband Tony of Groveland, FL. Larry is also survived by many other relatives and wonderful friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his father Perry L. McCoskey; brothers, Herbert Stafford and Cleon Stafford; and stepsister Shirley Wise.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Larry at the Dahlonega United Methodist Church, South Chestatee Street Campus on Friday October 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Ross officiating.
