Michael Claude Gilstrap

Michael Claude Gilstrap, age 45, of Dahlongea, Ga. died Friday October 2, 2009 at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming. Michael was a grading contractor. He was a deacon and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was a member of the Blue mountain Masonic lodge and Lumpkin county Gideons and was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin county.
Mr. Gilstrap is survived by his wife; Debbie Ray Gilstrap, Dahlonega. Daughter and son in law; Jessica and Chris Fields, Dahlonega. Daughter; Emma Gilstrap, Dahlonega. Son and Daughter in law; Michael Jr. and Crystal Gilstrap, Dahlonega. Parents: Claude and Nancy Gilstrap; Dahlongea. Sister and Brother in law: Tina and Chad Crow, Dahlonega. Brother and Sister in law; William and Michelle Gilstrap; Dahlonega. Grandchildren; Jaden Gilstrap and Dalton Miles. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Gilstrap are scheduled for 1:00 pm Monday October 5, 2009 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dahlonega. Rev. Michael Rodgers, Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Dean Bryant will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Bethlehem/Jones Chapel Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites.

The Family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Sunday from 2pm til 9pm.
