Mary Jean Young, age 58, of Summit Street, Gainesville, passed away October 1, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 12:00 pm at St. John Baptist Church with interment to follow in Greater Timberidge Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Calvin Watkins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 7 â
