Mark Alan King

Mr. Mark Alan King, age 47 of Blairsville, GA passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009.


He was born August 29, 1962 in Boston, MA, the son of Charles W. King Jr. and Barbara Munro King. Mark was a loving father, son, brother and grandfather. He enjoyed cooking, boating and hunting and will be remembered for his boisterous laugh and love of his children. Mark was a member of the Rotary and the Lions Club, and owner of Mark King Insurance Agency of Blairsville.


Survivors include parents, Charles W. King and Sandy King of Wheaton, IL; mother, Barbara M. King of Snellville; four children, Peyton King of Monroe, Savannah, Isaac and Zachary King all of Blairsville; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles and Betsy King of Dawsonville and Paul King of Snellville; two grandchildren, Hadynne and Jadynne; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Deckard.
