Danny Shane Woody

Mr. Danny Shane Woody, age 36, of Suches, GA died Saturday September 26, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Woody was a native and lifelong resident of Union County and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his parents, Lee and Joan Roper Woody of Suches, GA; son, Colby Woody, Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Lydia Woody, Blairsville, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joann and Billy Zeger, Flat Rock, AL, Stacy and Randy Harkins, Blairsville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Doris Woody, Suches, GA. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM Monday September 28, 2009 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega with Rev. Josh Mulkey officiating.

Interment will follow in the Woody Cemetery in Union County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 PM until 9 PM and again on Monday until the time of service.
