Dorothy Brooks

Dorothy Carolyn Brooks age 82 of Gainesville, passed away Friday September 25, 2009 at her Residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00A.M. Monday September 28 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Riverdale, Georgia. The Dr. W.E. Bill Brannon will officiate. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm at Green Lawn Cemetery in Alpharetta, GA.
The Body will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 am. The Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 Sunday September 27 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brooks was born in Roswell Georgia to the late Wilton Earl Brooks and Ola Mae Stephens Brooks. She had lived most of her life in Forest Park with the last 8 years living in Hall County. She was a charter member and had served as church secretary for Fellowship Baptist Church in Riverdale.

Survivors include Son Allan Brooks, Monroe, GA, Daughters Martha Lee, Gainesville, Rebecca Connor, Flowery Branch, Granddaughter Theresa Ward, Grandsons Douglas Thompson, Jordan Connor, Robert Goodwin, Billy Lee, Great Granddaughter Tricia Thompson and Great Grandson Will Ward.
