Lou Ella Martin

Lou Ella Martin, age 76, of Head Lane, Cleveland, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home North-Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Ronnie Fuller will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 24, 2009 from 1:00 to 9:00 pm and Friday, September 25, 2009 from 12:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Martin was born on May 29, 1933 to the late John Henry and Winnie Mae Wilson Chambers in Habersham County. Lou Ella resided in the Gainesville Mill Village most of her life where she worked for Leece Neville for 32 years. She was a member of Montgomery Memorial Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Martin, son, John Michael Martin, brother, Richard Chambers, sister, Pat Sullens.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Ronnie Pierce of Cleveland, granddaughter and husband, Stacie and Ryan Nuzum of Gainesville, granddaughter, Tracie Martin of Monroe, grandson, Benji Boling of Gainesville, granddaughter, Mary Terrell of Gainesville, great-granddaughter, Brittany Frady of Gainesville, great-granddaughter, Tiffanie Patrick of Jefferson, great-granddaughter, Nichol Whitfield of Lula, great-granddaughter, Hannah Nicholson of Gainesville, great-great-grandchildren, Dylan, Mason, Grayson, and Hayden, sister, Jean Simmon of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Bob Sullens of Lula, sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and John Jarrard of Gainesville, brother and sister-in-law, Guy and Clara Chambers of Lula, brother, Terry Lynn Chambers of South Carolina, brother, Roger Chambers of South Carolina.
