Virginia Hood Davis

Virginia Hood Davis, 92 of Cumberland Valley Road, Gainesville died Monday September 21, 2009 at her residence. A native of White County, she was the daughter of the late P.L. and Mary Charlotte Jenkins Hood. She has lived in Gainesville for a number of years. She was a retired teacher, having taught at Sautee Nachoochee, Taylorsville and Gainesville Mill for a number of years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Green Street and is preceded in death by her husband the Rev. R.E. â
