Marion F. Rucker

Mr. Marion F. Rucker, age 62, of Homer, GA died Monday, September 21, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Rucker was born in Banks County, GA to the late Oscar and Ola Parker Rucker. He was a member of Homer United Methodist Church and was a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his sister, Jane Crabbe of Athens, GA and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. at Homer United Methodist Church with Rev. James McLendon and Rev. Charles Crabbe officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 6-7 PM Wednesday. The family has requested that all flowers be omitted and donations made to Homer United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 37, Homer, GA 30547 in memory of Mr. Rucker.
