Eunice Joan Brown

Eunice Joan Saxon Brown, 77, of Gilliland Circle passed away Saturday Sept. 19, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Sept. 22, 2009 at 4:00pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5pm-9pm Monday Sept. 21, 2009 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brown was born November 2, 1931 to the late Claud L. and Benice E. Watson Saxon. She was a homemaker and a member of Westside Baptist Church. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her son Christopher David Brown.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years Eldon Brown of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law Vicki and Steve Bobby of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law Becky and Dee Cleveland of Flowery Branch, granddaughter and husband Lynn and Tal Martin of Homer, grandson Jason Martin of Dahlonega, granddaughter and husband Tanya and Stacy Black of Murrayville, granddaughter and husband Amanda and Jim Phelps of Flowery Branch, granddaughter Star Martinez of Hunnington Beach Calf., granddaughter Jennifer Brown of Gainesville, and 7 great grandchildren.
