Tildon Wiley Sheridan

Mr. Tildon Wiley Sheridan, age 95, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at his residence.


Mr. Sheridan was born in Banks County to the late, Charlie and Artie Jane Shannon Sheridan. He was a member of the Holiness Faith and was a retired truck driver with Garrison Lumber. In addition to his parents Mr. Sheridan was preceded in death by his wife, Farry Bell Bridges Sheridan.


Mr. Sheridan is survived by his daughters, Syble Pangle of Commerce, Jean Ervin of Homer, Ann Ayers of Baldwin, Faye Dial of Commerce, and Elizabeth Pressley of Carrollton; son, Lee Sheridan of Commerce; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Saturday, September 19 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. David Tilson and Rev. John Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Flat United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6-8 PM.
