Maebell Satterfield Dover

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday September 18, 2009 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel for Maebell Satterfield Dover, 71 of Gainesville. The Rev. Steve Dyer will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday September 17, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Dover passed away Wednesday September 16, 2009 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in White County, Ms. Dover had lived in Hall County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Vera Palmer Satterfield. Ms. Dover was a licensed practical nurse having worked at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center and a number of area nursing homes. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Charlene Satterfield.

Survivors include her son, Ricky Dover, Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law; Cindy and Sim Bell, Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law; Doris and Roy Lawson, Gainesville; Grandchildren, Shawn Dover, Joshua Grizzle and Justin Grizzle. a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
