Gene Burch

Gene Burch, 83, of Cumming, GA died at Northside Hospital Forsyth on September 15, 2009. He was the son of the late Lelia and Howard Burch.

A long time member of Parkway Presbyterian Church, he retired from Georgia Pacific (Atlanta) in 1987 where he was Sales Manager. Gene volunteered with the Northeast Georgia Chapter of the Red Cross.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marian Burch of Cumming, GA; son, Larry Burch, of Cumming, GA; daughter, Joyce Burch Quick of Palmetto, GA; and sister, Florence Jones of Las Altos, CA.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 21, 2009 at Parkway Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Interment will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, September 25, 2009 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
