Marjorie Lucille Cook Blackburn, age 86, of Alto, GA, died Thursday, September 10, 2009 at her residence.


Mrs. Blackburn was born on March 29, 1923 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Bert and Lola Brady Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Floyd Blackburn, her sister, Mildred Payne, her brothers, Lloyd Cook, Lamon Cook, and Edwin Cook, her granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn Blackburn, and her great grandson, Skyler Blackburn.
