Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Frank Gooch, 77, of Commerce who died Wednesday, September 9 at BJC Nursing Home.
Born in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Ernest and Lillie Gooch. He was married to Edna Brown Gooch of the residence. Mr. Gooch was retired from Roper of Commerce and he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in Korea.
Survivors, including his wife, include a son and daughter-in-law Larry and Rebecca Gooch of Commerce, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Frank Gooch will be conducted Friday, September 11 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Smith and Bill Manus officiating. Interment will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will recieve friends Thursday at the funeral home from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
