Swayne Shubert

Swayne Shubert, age 65 of Lula, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence on Friday, September 04, 2009.

Born in Banks County, on November 06, 1943, he was the son of the late Jesse and Dollie Smith Shubert. Mr. Shubert served in the United States Army with 101st Airborne Division. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, the local VFW and was a Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Shubert of Lula; son and daughter-in-law, Marc & Shina Shubert of Alto; grandchildren, Lauren & John Shubert; sisters; Louise Sheridan of Maysville and Annie Hastings of Royston; sister & brother-in-law, Mary & Clarence Orgeron of Crossville, TN; brother, William Shubert of Warner Robins; brother & sister-in-law, J.T. & Shirley Shubert of Gainesville.
