Willie Mae Crumbley

Willie Mae Crumbley, 81, of Cumming, GA died on August 30, 2009 at Chestnut Ridge Nursing Center. Born in Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Ether and Imogene Evans. Her beloved husband, Charles E. Crumbley also preceded her in death.

A long time resident of Smyrna, GA, Mrs. Crumbley was a member of Welcome All Baptist Church for many years. She worked at Cobb Senior Services for 15 years, and was much loved by those she served. She loved her church and family and moved to Cumming to be near her daughter.

Mrs. Crumbley is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Larry) Monroe of Cumming, GA; sister, Edith Fields of Jasper, GA; grandchildren, Nathan (Paige) Monroe, Caleb and Kristen Monroe; and great-grandchildren, Rebekah, Aaron and Ruthie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank Whitmire, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rockmart, GA. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 31, 2009 from 5:00 â
