William Donald (Don) Hix Jr.

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of
Mr. William Donald (Don) Hix Jr., age 68, of Jefferson, who passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009. Mr. Hix was born on March 27, 1941 in Jackson County, a son to Mrs. Vannie Freeman Hix and the late William Donald Hix Sr. Mr. Hix was a salesman for the Ford Motor Company for 39 years, a member of the Living Word Worship Center, and a veteran of the US Air Force.

Survivors include wife, Peggy Looney Hix, Jefferson, daughters, Rhonda Hix Dodd, Alto, Roxanne Hix Heimlich, Jackson, WY, sons, Roger Allen Hix, Jefferson, Rowland Eric Hix, Jefferson, mother, Vannie Freeman Hix, Jefferson, sister, Peggy Ann Hix, Jefferson, brother, Butch Hix, Jefferson, 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 4:00PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Fowler Sr., Rev. Donald Wilson and Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating. The burial will follow in the Evans Memory Gardens. The visitation will be held on Monday, from 1-3 and 6-9pm in the funeral home.
