Katherine (Missy) Walker

Katherine (Missy) Walker, 36, of Dahlonega passed away Saturday August 22, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 25, 2009 at 2:00pm at Murrayville Baptist Church with the Rev. T. John Dell and the Rev. David Weeks officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Walker is the daughter of Leo and Margaret Gehrtz. Mrs. Walker graduated from Dawson County High School in 1991, She was employed by the Jubilee Christian Academy and a member of the Murrayville Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her brother Darryl Gehrtz. Her father-in-law Alvin Walker

Survivors include her husband Rev. Chad Walker of Dahlonega, her 3 daughters Wrenn, Hannah, and Breahna Walker all of Dahlonega, her parents Leo and Margaret Gehrtz of Cleveland, GA, her sister Laurie Carpenter (J.D.) of Deep Step, GA, brother Lee Gehrtz of Lyden, WA, nieces Brittany Gehrtz, Josie Sargent, Cora Smith, Audrey Smith, nephews Brandon Gehrtz, Justin Gehrtz, Dylan Smith, Eli Smith. Mother-in-law Joyce Cooke, sister-in-law Kristy Smith(Andy).
