William Swain Stanley

William Swain Stanley, age 60, of Miller Drive, Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, August 24, 2009 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Whitehall Cemetery. Reverend Dwight Woodall and Reverend R.P. Mason will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 22, 2009 and Sunday, August 23, 2009 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Stanley was born on February 22, 1949 to the late Herman and Hassie Stanley in Jackson County, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Stanley is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Stanley of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and James Jones of Lula, daughter and son-in-law, Leann and Chris Parker of Maysville, brother, Wayne Stanley of Jefferson, brother and sister-in-law, Dexter and Kathy Stanley of Gainesville, grandchildren, Katie, Keri, and Kayla Jones of Lula, grandchildren, Cody, Kristen, and Caitlyn Parker of Maysville.
