Eunice Venable (Big Mama) Howington

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Eunice Venable "Big Mama" Howington, age 75 of Jefferson who passed away at her residence
on Saturday evening, August 15, 2009.

Mrs. Howington was born in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Emory and Ida Brown Venable. Mrs. Howington attended Living Word Worship Center and was the retired ownner of Howington's B-B-Q. Survivors include her son, Hershel Howington of Jefferson, Sister, Pauline Wilkes of Athens, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Mobley
officiating with burial to follow in the Cabin Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, August 17, 2009 from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home. Evans Funeral Home, 1350 Winder Highway, Jefferson, Georgia. 706-367-5467.
